Money Spending

Since becoming somewhat financially independent, I’ve started to notice how frugal I’ve become. Take yesterday – I was going out with some friends. Before, when I would do both a movie and lunch, today I wasn’t so willing. The amount that I would spend was how much I earned in a week. In the end, we caught a matinee movie (Benjamin Button, which by the way is amazing, although I cried buckets) and went to Potbellys, which is fairly cheap. All in all, about $20 spent. I keep telling myself not to be cheap, but to be frugal. Spending time with friends and enjoying myself is more important than how much I spend.
